I started Personal Touch Placement Services based on my 25-plus years of experience in the hospice industry working with patients,families, and loved ones, during this very challenging time. Change is at the heart of our life experience; as we age, our needs naturally change. Healthcare has changed as well, and without assistance in navigating these changes, it’s possible to feel like we are just a diagnosis, and no longer a person.During my hospice years, I observed how postponing major decisions until the last minute often deprived people of more optimal outcomes in the unfamiliar realm of hospice care.I found that sitting down, and taking time to clearly discuss options and benefits, without any pressure, helped to overcome many of the fears and misconceptions people would experience otherwise.My mission is to walk through the process of placement with each person, individually,taking into account the unique characteristics and needs of the individual, and their family to ensure that they get the “Personal Touch” they deserve knowing that“hands-on service is the key” to any life change we have.
