Anita's journey in senior living began in an unassuming role as a part-time waitress at an assisted living community as a teenager, 15 years old. This early experience ignited a fervent interest in the field, leading her to volunteer her time to learn from the sales team while gradually ascending through various operational and sales positions, ultimately becoming a Sales Director. Anita's professional path expanded across multiple states, including California, Oklahoma, and Texas, where she held the role of Regional Sales Director for several senior living communities. Along the way, she earned her Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) license and certifications in Gerontology and dementia care, deepening her expertise and commitment to enhancing the lives of seniors. Anita was lucky to have grown up around not only my grandparents, but also my great grandparents. Her parents led by example in honoring the seniors who lived around us, and she has helped four of her family members move into a senior living community. With over 22 years of experience in senior living, Anita founded Neighborly Senior Placement. Her enterprise is dedicated to assisting seniors and their families in navigating the complexities of senior living options, utilizing her extensive knowledge and experience to offer guidance and support. Anita's career is a testament to her lifelong dedication to enriching the lives of seniors with dignity and respect, continuing to inspire those around her through her commitment and expertise. Neighborly Senior Placement, a woman-owned business, was founded on the idea that a team hyper-focused on the individual needs and preferences for seniors, specifically across local California communities, will result in a better lasting fit for those seniors. What started as a small placement service has now blossomed into a team of senior living experts, located all across California.
