I help families find assisted living, memory care, independent living, and board and care facilities for their aging loved ones. This is a free service - I get compensated by the 110 care homes and communities in my San Luis Obispo county network. I have helped over 1000 families during the past 11 years. I do an indepth assessment when we meet. Then I provide fact sheets with photos and a tour checklist to my families. Then I tour with them. I help secure the MD paperwork and other resources such as an estate planning attorney, financial planner, real estate agent etc. Once placed I follow up 2, 7 and 30 days after move in. I deliver a welcome gift on the 7th day. I also add the families to my enewsletter so we can stay in touch over the long term. I am a trained Certified Senior Advisor CSA. I am caring, compassionate and patient with my clients. I also have a practice in San Mateo county with a geriatric care manager who does my touring for me.
